Our Grand Opening a Beautiful Success (Despite Everything That Went Wrong!)

To all the incredible artists, guests, and supporters who joined us for our opening vernissage — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We launched our little not-for-profit art gallery with passion, purpose… and just a few things not quite ready for prime time. Our sign wasn’t up. The lighting decided to be moody. Our printer joined the rebellion and refused to work. It was, in many ways, a comedy of errors.

But thanks to all of you — your warmth, your patience, and your good humor — the evening turned into something truly magical.

A big, heartfelt thank you to Léon Courville Vignoble from Knowlton, Québec, for providing the delicious wine that helped smooth over the rough edges. And what would the night have been without the absolutely soul-stirring violin performance by Revaz Memishev? His music turned our gallery into a space filled not just with art, but with emotion and energy.

Despite being the "little gallery nobody has heard of (yet!)," we were thrilled and humbled to welcome 64 guests through our doors — an incredible turnout for our first event.

Your presence, enthusiasm, and support give us hope that word will start to spread. With your help, we believe we can grow into a welcoming and vibrant place where art lovers from all walks of life can discover something special.

Our mission is simple but sincere: to showcase emerging Quebec artists and give them a prime platform to share their talent with the world. Every brushstroke, every sculpture, every vision deserves to be seen.

Speaking of talent — we’re thrilled to congratulate Ingrid Sylbermayr on the sale of one of her paintings during our grand opening! It’s a wonderful reminder of what’s possible when artists are given the space to shine.

From all of us here at the gallery — thank you for believing in us. Here's to many more events, more shared laughs, and more beautiful moments (hopefully with a working printer next time).
